At 5 Hounds, we ship different products using different delivery methods to ensure freshness, safety, and reliability. Please review the information below to understand how your order will be delivered.

Where We Ship

We currently ship Australia-wide.

Meal Plans: Delivered to all Australian states via our refrigerated courier network. Check if we deliver to your area here!
Treats & Synbiotic Powder: Delivered Australia-wide via Australia Post

At this time, we do not ship internationally.

Meal Plan Deliveries (Fresh & Frozen Meals)

Delivery Method

All 5 Hounds meal plans are delivered:

Via our dedicated courier service
In insulated packaging
Using refrigerated vehicles to maintain food safety

Your meals will arrive frozen.

Delivery Timing & Notifications

You can select your preferred delivery date at checkout
On the day of delivery, you will receive a text message notification from the courier when your order is due to arrive

Receiving Your Delivery

It is your choice whether to be home at the time of delivery.

If you are not home:

Your box will be left as directed in your delivery instructions, and you will receive a text with a photo confirming exactly where and when it was delivered.
Our packaging is designed to maintain temperature for a reasonable period

However, once a delivery has been completed, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer.

We strongly recommend:

Placing your meals in the freezer as soon as possible after delivery

5 Hounds is not responsible for product quality issues arising from delays in unpacking or storage after delivery.

All Treats and Synbiotic Powder orders (not shipped with a meal plan) are sent via Australia Post.

Standard Shipping: $14.99 (estimated 2–8 business days)
Express Shipping: $19.99 (estimated 1–4 business days)

Free courier shipping Australia-wide on all Meal Plans
Shipping fees apply to Treats and Synbiotic Powder orders unless included with a meal plan
Free standard shipping via Australia Post applies to Treats and Synbiotic Powder orders $120 or above

Delivery Delays & Issues

While we work closely with our delivery partners, shipping timeframes are not guaranteed.

5 Hounds is not liable for delays caused by:

Courier or postal service disruptions
Weather events
Incorrect or incomplete delivery details provided at checkout
Circumstances outside our reasonable control

If your delivery appears delayed or there is an issue with your order, please contact us at info@5hounds.com.au as soon as possible so we can assist.

Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate at checkout.

If a delivery fails or is delayed due to incorrect address details, re-delivery fees may apply, and refunds may not be available for perishable items.
