My 2 sibling boxers really like 5 hounds. I think Luna's favourite is beef. She is a fussy eater so it's good to see she enjoys the meals. Leroy's favourite, well, it's all of them...beef, goat, kangaroo and fish, as well as the 5 hound treats!
They're happy and I'm happy that they are eating very healthy pooch appropriate food!

I have always fed my maremma raw food, including chicken breast, but it wasn’t until I listened to Dr Will about the issues with chicken. I decided it was the best option to change to Dr Wills meals after doing a lot of research. She had always refused veges and fruit, but it doesn’t bother her that it’s mixed in her meals. Emma’s licking of her paws etc has now stopped and her stools are perfection 🤩

I had struggled to find a fresh healthy food option that my dog would eat for more than a few weeks without getting bored or hating the taste. I found 5Hounds and started with the variety pack to see which protein he enjoyed. The delivery was prompt and the packages easy to store in the freezer.
We now order the Beef and the Kangaroo, the beef is Pascals favourite. Pascal enjoys his meals and looks healthy and happy. Our next order I have included some of the treats to try. I’ve been ordering since October and I’m very happy with the service and the tips provided by Dr Will on feeding and fussy eaters helped me to get Pascal on track.

Ollie is my golden retriever pup who will be turning two in a couple of weeks and is intact. We got him at 8 weeks and he was the one who kind of forced me into looking out for an alternative to kibble. At 9 weeks, he refused to eat his kibble. I then started using boiled chicken as a topper. He finished his meals for a day or two. On the third day, he just ate the chicken and left the kibble as is. This is the point where I started doing research. Since then it's been a trial and error of trying out different dog foods. Below are a few that I've fed Ollie over the past year and a half:

Ziwi Peak: He loved this. Cons: Pet stores near me didn't always have it in stock. Also the amount to feed is a little ambiguous.

Eureka Pet food: He loved all of their recipes. Cons: Expensive, and the feeding amount recommended seemed to be on the lower side. Ollie used to scavenge even after his meal.

Raw & Fresh: This is raw food and they have 3 different recipes. CONS: I found the feeding amount recommended was too high. Ollie put on too much weight and started to lose shape especially in the waist area.

Wolfit Box: This is another raw food alternative that I tried. CONS: This one had come up in my initial search but their feeding amount was confusing then. They used to recommend the amount based on box sizes for e.g. a large box or a XXL box etc. They have since corrected it and have started recommending food intake in grams. I tried this for a month and a half. CONS: The meal packet leaks when thawed and creates a bloody mess. Overall, I did not see much difference compared to Raw & Fresh.

During this entire period, Ollie used to scratch a lot and his poos used to be inconsistent. A bout of diarrhea never settled on it's own and always included a trip to the Vet.

Ollie's been on 5 hounds now since November 2025. He's on a Half bowl plan and the difference is noticeable. His scratching started reducing and is almost non existent as of today. His poo was a little bit up and down for the first few days but are top notch now. But the one that makes me the happiest is that I've started seeing a definition on his waist. We've gone from "he's so cute and chubby" to "He looks so much leaner and fitter". Ollie loves the Beef, Kanga and Goat. The fish meal gives him the runnies. So I've cut that one out for now.

I am now transitioning Ollie to the Full Bowl plan. Dr Will, Ollie says Thank you.

PS: The flat pack idea is genius. I didn't realize that I would appreciate it so much :).

My moodle was the world's fussiest eater! Tried everything, spent a fortune. My friend recommended 5hounds to me and after trying the bundle pack my princess Nala licks the bowl clean every time! Her favourite is the beef and goat!!! The treats are a winner too!

We love 5 hounds! So convenient for us, simple and ready to go. The service is unmatched, team always ready to help if needed. Mostly, the dogs absolutely love it and we love knowing they’re getting fresh and healthy food - delivered to our door!

Honestly I can't rate this food enough! Wally is truly obsessed. There is no hint of hesitation, and the crying begins when he has to wait too long for me to get it into his slow feeder (he will just scoff it down so fast otherwise). He loves every single flavour, particularly the beef. He also loves when it's heated.

The only suggestion I have is the packaging of the synbiotic is a bit difficult to get the powder out, even with the supplied spoon. A tube container would be easier. Not a big deal, just a suggestion.

5 hounds has made such a big difference to my dog Monty’s health, since transitioning 5 months ago. His faeces were often yellow and runny. With his diet of dried food and prime 100 rolls. We took him to the vet, but we were unable to get to the bottom of what this issue was without doing extensive testing. I decided to look into this and knew it had to be his diet. I saw some ads from 5 hounds and dr will talking about the same issues Monty was experiencing. Monty no longer has these gut issues since being on 5 hounds and I am so relieved. Thank you 5 hounds for making these meals that are healthy, nutritious and have solved Monty’s diet problems.

Since starting up with 5 Hounds about 6 months ago Our Elvis ,now 19 monthRottweiler , is looking his best so far. His coat is shiny and healthy looking and best of all his poor are solid and a good size and colour, dark. No more cow paddies dribbles, orconstipation .

My Frenchie bulldog loves the food & have been giving the probiotics & I think her breath as improved so much

After bringing up many dogs over the past 40 years on some form of BARF diet, I found Dr Will and decided to give him a try since we'd recently acquired a new member of our family, a 8wk old Border Collie to live with our 9yo German Shepherd & 7yo Swiss Shepherd on our farm. Wow! such quality food, well prepared, packaged like it's a precious artifact and my dogs have never looked or felt better. I thought my old boy had dental issues, nope he just didn't like what I was feeding him. The pup, she's now 10 months old and absolutely thriving and all 3 dogs race around our farm every day in play and work and are living their best lives and hopefully a lot longer for each of them because of this amazing food created by someone who finally gets it. We have a very very fussy 12 year old pointer who we have struggled to keep weight in, but he has amazingly taken to the 5 hounds really well after a few failed starts with other well know fresh food brands. And after turning his nose up at the treats initially (his default position for anything) he now goes crazy for all the flavours. It’s been nice not to have to worry about his weight loss!

Bobby loves his 5 Hounds, especially the Beef Bowl. I’ve tried many ways to slow down his eating speed but he tells me “It’s just too good, mum”

Oscar my pug just goes mad for your food the minute I start opening the pack he goes crazy.
As he suffers from allergies of itchy patches I was anxious to try something new.
Well it has been such a success no more itching and his fur is so much softer.
Whilst he is on regular medication I do believe the food has made the most difference.
His poo is firm ,black and has no odour what so ever, a sign of a healthy gut you stated in a news letter so you can imagine how happy I am.

Tommy had always been a fussy eater since we
got him at 8mths of age. We fed him what his breeder recommended but he fussed around and was less than enthusiastic. But he LOVES all of the 5hounds products and licks the bowl clean. For over a year, our dog suffered from a severe skin issue. We visited five different vets, tried various steroids, creams, diet changes, and everything else we could think of, but nothing resolved the problem. We spent a significant amount of money, time, and energy worrying about our dog, who was uncomfortable all the time.

I have been looking into my dog (Stormy) diet for a while, just wanting to give her the best for longevity and health. She has been my rock since I lost my Mum last April, so I need her with me for as long as possible.
I did a lot of research on dog food, and every time I always ended back at 5 Hounds.
Best decision I have made 🙌 Stormy is thriving and even at her recent vet check her vet made a comment about how healthy she is and her coat is so soft and shiny.
I can finally stop my researching as she will be on 5 Hounds from now on.

Billy the Boxer loves his new food from 5 Hounds. I introduced all flavours early on in the transition and he has been gulping them down. His fave is Beef, if I had to pick his least fave, it’s probably the fish . still feeding a little kibble at the moment as well as homemade to the mix but hoping I can add more 5 hounds if I can afford it long term.

Ted is a high energy boy who needs to be fuelled for his active lifestyle!
We love that we can see the ingredients rather than grey mush and how excited he gets rushing to his crate to open the door to put himself in ready to eat 🤣
Ted also has horrible grass allergies which can leave his feet bald, red and raw however I am so grateful his transition to 5 hounds helped with significant improvements so he can do the things he loves. We also love that 5 hounds is perfect for freezing in his Toppl so he can enjoy working for his food for 30mins+.
Hoping the fifth hound flavour will be Venison 🤞

My two pooches absolutely love the 5 Hounds meals, and they are thriving health wise. The delivery process is great as is the recycled wool packaging to keep it cool (we reuse it in the garden in areas where we want to suppress weeds). I do agree somewhat with others about the packaging and there being food left behind in the bag however if this kind of packaging keeps the price affordable then don't change it. Currently I have been cutting the bag open, so it lays flat and my dogs lick it clean after licking their bowls clean.
