Freddie’s been on 5 Hounds since day one and I honestly wouldn’t feed him anything else. He loves it and never leaves anything behind.

It’s real food, nothing processed, just proper ingredients you actually recognise. I like knowing exactly what’s going into his bowl and that he’s getting quality every time.

His energy, coat, and overall health have been exceptional, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into how it’s made. Easily the best dog food I’ve come across. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

If you care about what you’re feeding your dog, 5 Hounds is a no brainer.

The team at 5 Hounds have been very helpful with my dogs and their sensitive tummies. The novel protein is good and both dogs are now very happy and excited to eat their 5 Hounds every day.
The only small negatives are that sometimes the pouches are not 500g (sometimes a little more, sometimes less) and it can get a little messy preparing the meals.

My border collie who is very active and 4 years old switched to this product over 6 months ago now and loves it. I do mix some extra sardines and eggs into her food to ensure she gets enough calories but she scoffs it down every night. We love it.

Dog didn't like at first has come around now

5 Hounds has been the only food our dog has consistently liked. For over a year now she gets excited for breakfast and dinner. She has always lost interest in other foods and now she wakes us up for her breakfast!

I was a little worried that my super fussy dog wouldn't like it as previous attempts to get her to eat any raw meat failed miserably but after just two days she was excited to eat it.

My Aussie Shepherd had digestive issues continually burping, having hiccups, lying down to drink, runny poos. He just wasn’t thriving, his coat was dull and his teeth and gums weren’t great. Since being on 5 Hounds all his digestive issues have gone. His coat is coming back great and his teeth and gums are so much better and getting better by the day. Couldn’t recommend this food highly enough. Louie absolutely loves his meal times now, licks his bowl clean!

Customer service is fantastic and both my cavaliers think the food is fantastic.

I am really happy with this company and cannot recommend them enough to people. Since starting 5 hounds and the probiotics powder in addition my dog Pebbles hasn’t had a smelly fart in as long as I can remember! Pebbles has also lost a little bit of weight and is looking super healthy now. Her coat feels more soft and looks more shiny, even her mood seems to have changed. She’s acting a lot more relaxed and calm now since going off her dry food. Her bowel movements are perfect everyday and she licks her bowl clean everyday as there was no issues with adjusting from dry to wet food. I am also really happy with the customer service with 5 hounds as well! Keep up the good work! Thanks guys!

Hugo loves 5 Hounds!
Thanks to great advice from Lauren at Ocean Edge Dog Training Hugo has been on a raw food diet since he was 10 weeks. He loves 5 Hounds and eats it up much quicker than the food we produce. As you can see by his nose deep in the bowl!

I’ve tried a few whole dog food companies and 5 hounds is definitely the best! My boy absolutely loves it and his poops have never been better. I really like your use of goat and kangaroo in your meals! I’m going to be a long time costumer of yours now!

My only piece of critical feedback is on the pouches the food came in. They get gross pretty quickl when you’re using it to feed over a few days - but that’s not an easy fix and in no way a deal breaker!

We used the symbiotic to help with our dogs severe allergies. He was ripping himself raw due to gut issues. His coat is night and day different.

In October 2024, Mavis received her first delivery of 5 Hounds and it would be fair to say that she was struggling. She had a nasty skin condition as a result of long term medication use for her autoimmune disease, her coat was dull and pasty, her energy levels were depleted and she was barely holding onto any quality of life. I honestly believed at that point in time, that she would struggle to see out Christmas 2024.(see attached photo Mavis Oct 2024)

If we fast track to earlier this month (03/11/2025) we celebrated Mavis turning 8, a milestone that was seriously a pipedream back in 2024. They say that a picture tells a thousand words and well the pictures attached do exactly that (see attached Mavis Nov 25 & Mavis Nov 2025). Mavis is absolutely thriving and the only thing that has changed in her life is her diet, she is a fully fledged 5 Hounds advocate!! She is now fueled by a diet that has given her quality of life back and is kicking goals in her senior years. To say that I am grateful is an understatement, my world is better with Mavis (& Esme) in it. This last 12 months has given me a greater understanding and appreciation of the importance of a diet that has been created to ensure our four legged companions get the necessary fuel for a healthy and long life, I cannot recommend 5 Hounds highly enough.

I can't say enough about 5 hounds , it's been the best thing ive ever done for Bailey, he had never been very excited about mealtime and now his right there watching me get it and licks the bowl clean everytime.

After months and months of not eating, obvious gut issues and me trying to do the right thing, I am so happy that my nearly 2yr old pup is eating his beef bowl every night. Nothing left, bowl licked clean. Looking forward to introducing-very slowly- a variety of proteins.

My boy Hank was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder this year and getting his diet right was the key factor in preventing flare ups. Once we switched to 5hounds, the difference was instant. Hank was excited to eat his dinner, his skin cleared, his itching stopped, his poo's improved and he is overall a healthier and happier dog! And we have not had any flare ups! Yay! He is obsessed with the treats too! :)

Diesel has been on 5 hounds for just over 3 weeks and he is loving it so much he licks his bowl clean every time and I am also happy with this product and the service the deliverys are on time every time thank you so much.

Isla is 4 and had visited the Vet every few months for skin allergies since she was 6 months old. She was previously on 80% premium kibble alongside meat/veg. 5 weeks ago I discovered 5 hounds and had a consultation with Dr Will. I was quite stressed due to all the medication Isla had been prescribed prior with no answers. Her moods had become sporadic, her anxiety was high and she had recently tried behaviour training. I highly recommend having a consult with Dr Will. He was so compassionate, patient and knowledgeable about gut health in dogs and its ability to improve immunity. Since then Dr Will and Dr Sienna have also been incredibly helpful in ensuring a holistic approach to Islas skin issues. The results so far (alongside some dermatology meds intially) is her enthusiasm at meal times; she now jumps in the air and spins as soon as I mention the words “5 hounds”. This is followed by drooling and licking her lips before devouring her meal. Her stools are perfect, her coat is velvet soft and I’ve noticed less anxiety and calmer moods. I cannot recommend 5 hounds enough and have been telling my fur parent community. Thanks so much for being an advocate for real and nutritious dog food! And creating a product I can trust. Both our dogs loved the taste of it once we heated it up a little. Some flavours they liked more than others. But we had to stop because my 16yr old dog has pancreatitis and no chicken options. He poop was also runny and didn’t clear up, the poor thing. Younger dog is still on it and doing well however.
